China exported 5.651 million tons of steel in March

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, China exported 5.651 million tons of steel in March, a year-on-year increase of 16.6% and a year-on-year decrease of 25.2%; In January-March, the total export of steel was 15.148 million tons, down 26.4% year on year, 0.7 percentage points lower than that in January-February. In March, China imported 85.788 million tons of iron ore, up 1.8% month-on-month and down 10.2% year-on-year; In January-March, the import of iron ore was 271 million tons, down 0.1% year on year.
